Monday to Friday and weigh in!

I've been tracking all my intake and exercise, but haven't had a chance to update it here till now. Ovarall my eating was okay, however there were a couple times I went to long without eating, then ate 800 -900 cals at once, I need to make sure I stick to small portions with snacks in between, at all times. I should make it a rule to have an apple at 3pm everyday, this will make me less hungry at dinner and add a bit more fiber.

My todays friday weigh in is 163 pounds, so down 1 lb. in 1.5 weeks. I'm happy with my progress because I feel I've packed on a lot of muscle in these last couple weeks, so hopefully I've actually lost a couple or so lbs of fat, and added back some muscle.

MONDAY

Exercise:
jog = 30 min = 390 cals
weights, 15 min = 112 cals

TUESDAY:

snowboarding, 2.5 hrs = 1147 cals

WEDNESDAY:
My evening, post workout snack turned into another large meal, because I wasn't able to grab anything to eat until midnight --too many cals!

snowboarding = 3 hrs = 1275 cals
weights + abs, 60 min = 420 cals
DAILY TOTAL: Intake - Exercise = 1103 (497 cals under the 1600 I use per day)

THURSDAY:

elliptical = 52 min, high intensity = 676 cals

Saturday and Sunday

Took the tree down Saturday, and took it to get chippeded up, spent the rest of the day out shopping. Sunday was spent up at the mountain boarding.

Friday Hair cut day!

Had 4 or 5 inches lopped off my hair today. It now sits to my shoulders with lots of layers, it's so much more flattering on me. I'm tempted to go for a bob length next time. Picked up a big bottle of Pureology conditioner too at a great price.

No exercise today, it's break day. My cals are a bit high thanks to 4 pieces of chocolate, but they say your body likes variation in the cals you consume though, right.

Carbs: 231 G

Thursday

Man, had no energy tonight tonight for my cardio. Had some caffine b4 my elliptical at level 10 - 11 which had my HR at about 74% max. My usual HR is 85 - 95% MAX without feeling pooped, that's level 14 for me right now.

TODAYS INTAKE:

Protien: %31
Fat: 22%
Carbs: 47%

Exercise:
eliptical, 60 min = 650 cals
walking, 30 min = 120 cals
total = 770 cals burned

Wahoo! it's diet time

Well I'm back online to keep track of my progress on this blog. I'm one of those people who loves to go into a diet frenzy come January 1, lol. Over the next 4 months, my goal is to whittle away about 25 or so lbs of flab.

I've been exercising a lot, so I'm in decent shape, I'll be adding weights back into my schedule, and cutting a few of the calories back. In the past I was able to loose at the rate of 1 lb per week. Since my activity level's pretty high right now I'm going to aim around 1.5 loss per wk.

I keep a food diary with the Calorie King application, so rather than post my specific daily intake I'll post my carbs, fat, calories and protien as a total daily intake, along with exercise.

TODAYS INTAKE:

Calories: 1625
Protien: %24
Fat: 27%
Carbs: 49%

Exercise:
snowboarding, 1.5 hrs, bad snow today : ( = 500 cals
weights, 40 min = 280 cals
eliptical, 30 min = 320 cals
total = 1110 cals burned

DAILY TOTAL: Intake - Exercise = 515 (1085 cals under the 1600 I use per day)

It would have been better If I'd eaten more today. My net cals are on the low side. I try for between 1650 - 1900 cals on days I exercise.

I've got out of the habit of doing weights at the the gym. In the summer it's to tempting to do all exercise outside --gotta get back to the gym to lift at least 3 times a week. Well when the rainy weather arrives I guess...

8:30am: blueberry muffin (300) a plum (25) = (325)
9:30am: tea w/ honey = (90)
10:30am: 1/2 seed and nut bar = (150)
1:30am: sushi: tuna roll and yam roll = (500)
9:30pm: choc coconut protien shake w/ flax (425) vitamins = (425)

Intake TOTAL = ( 1490 )

Todays Exercise:
jog along the seawall, 1 hrs (650) then brisk walk, 25 min (200)
= ( 850 )

DAILY TOTAL: Intake - Exercise = 640 (1010 cals under the 1650 I use per day)
